NTUA team in collaboration with NAXOS Municipality, ANCIENT OLYMPIA Municipality and CARTIF Technology Centre (Spain) organized the international conference on 13-16th June 2018 in Naxos island (https://naxos2018.uest.gr/index.php) in the framework of the LIFE PAVEtheWAySTE project. The Conference aimed to address environmental management issues and in particular the significant issue of sustainable solid waste management through the promotion of safe practices & effective and innovative technologies. It aimed to stimulate the interest of scientists and citizens and inform them about the latest developments in the field of best environmental management practices. More than 550 participants from 80 different countries worldwide attended the international event.
